At Full Colour Coaching, we believe that while it's easy to experience school, work, or life in black and white, true growth and potential come when we start to see the world in Full Colour. Coaching is one of the most powerful ways to help young people do just that.

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a solution-focused, future-oriented, and confidential conversation. A trained coach listens with care and uses thought-provoking questions to guide individuals to:

  • Discover and amplify their strengths
  • Identify their goals and challenges
  • Design their own strategies for growth and success

Rather than offering advice or instructions, coaching empowers individuals to become the authors of their own development—unlocking their potential and building self-belief.

At Full Colour Coaching, we specialise in group coaching delivered directly in schools. These sessions allow students and staff to benefit from shared learning, collaboration, and mutual support. Group coaching creates a dynamic space for individuals to reflect, learn from others, and grow together in a supportive environment.

Why Coaching Matters in Schools

Coaching is a game-changer for education. When introduced in schools, it helps create a culture where students feel heard, respected, and motivated to take ownership of their learning and wellbeing.

  • Improves Mental Health & Wellbeing: Students learn how to manage stress, build resilience, and regulate emotions.
  • Strengthens Emotional Intelligence: Through reflective conversations, students develop empathy, self-awareness, and communication skills.
  • Develops Student Leadership: Coaching gives young people tools to support their peers and lead with confidence.
  • Promotes a Growth Mindset: Encourages students to see challenges as opportunities for learning and growth.
  • Empowers Staff: Teachers and staff trained in coaching can support pupils more effectively and foster stronger relationships.

The Coaching Skills for Wellbeing Award and our workshops have shown a lasting impact on:

Confidence:
Students feel more capable and ready to face challenges.

Self-Efficacy:
Young people believe in their ability to create change in their own lives.

Connection:
Peer support and empathy are strengthened across year groups.

Motivation:
Students become more engaged in their goals and values.

In a world where stress, anxiety, and disconnection are rising, coaching gives young people the skills to flourish—at school and in life.
